I don't know what to think about all of that. Boys are confusing. Sometimes they show affection without even realizing they are doing it. I guess I'm still trying to think of what to tell you. Ask Katie what she thinks of it.
I want you to think about something though. Pretend you were with someone for seven years. Think of how emotionally attached you would be to that person. Think about moving in with that person. You have to be able to know and accept all of their flaws to live with someone. Think about you having a wonderful boyfriend for seven years. Of course the road is going to be bumpy because boys are douche bags and they hurt girl's feelings. Relationships just don't end over little things. I mean, they do if you're in middle school. Adult relationships can withstand a lot more. I guess it comes with maturity. If you were with someone for seven years, wouldn't it crush you to leave them. Of course you would flirt with other guys. Being with the same person so long may get a little boring. But as much as you flirt and talk with other people, you'll still love the person you're with. So think about all of that and put yourself in Barry's situation. You are not dumb. I know you don't think that Barry doesn't have deep feelings for Jessica. If he didn't love her, on whatever level, he wouldn't still be with her. I don't know. I just typed a lot and I don't know if any of that was right. So just think about it.
Ask other people their advice. I'm bad at giving advice when it comes to other's relationships.
