my eternal fate as the crazy spinster cat lady moves one step further into actualization with the temporary adoption of Tobe-Master Flex into my happy kitty-friendly household which now outnumbers human occupants 3:1. There is an overabundance of cat-hair....everywhere. Three is, perhaps, a bit excessive, and I'm somewhat awaiting Schmitty's return anxiously. But so it goes. For the record, Tobey's lost a little but of his belly and is looking quite handsome and thing next to my beastly cats. I try to diet them man, but they eat through the cat food bag. what to do, what to do.
Reeanna's flight home to Orlando from Tennessee had a delay which has allowed her and her family to stay in New Orleans tonight (her first visit). She called me to let me know she was staying in my city. Somewhat sad to think of it as such considering I haven't been in almost a year and a half now. But place that on my list of priorities now that (!!) car maintanence has been completely and such a trip is now merely waiting on that little extra money thats always coming paycheck after next.
My newest job (they change so frequently sometimes I feel obligated to make general announcements so has to relay my current company loyalties to the world) is a line cook at applebee's. I feel I have officially broken into the social rankings of the kitchen there, due to the fact that they no longer refer to me as "that little white girl" (this has been replaced by a number of nicknames) and have conceded that I actually can cook (apparently an obnoxiously rare trait in a female in Gainesville). I am somewhat perpetually confused by this as I do not find cooking to be so physically demanding a job that would entail only men perform it. Moreover to the point, I'm weak as hell kids, and if I can do it so can you.
at any rate, the G-spot is boring as fuck over winter break, I almost dare say that I miss the students. Come back Frat boys! traffic up my roads with your SUV's, my life is empty without something to constantly belittle and criticize.
