Minato headed towards the bed, laying Ryoji on it. He sighed at their situation. First Ryoji got amnesia after trying to kill everyone, then Pharos appeared, and Ryoji... He didn't even know what had happened to Ryoji right now. At least now he seemed to be a bit better. Hopefully the sleep would do him some good. He turned

"No..!" Minato moving away from him is not at all what he wants right now, and he's tired and confused and achey it all adds up to him not caring if he pulls the back of his coat very, very hard to make him not leave.

Minato would be lying if he said Ryoji's reaction didn't surprise him. But he still gave him a small smile, and sat on the bed next to Ryoji. "Alright. I'll stay here. Don't worry."

"If you don't mind, I'd like to sleep as well. Or... at least try to." He peered at Ryoji and made a soft noise, worry evident on his face. "...But if you want me to be quiet, I can do that too." Pharos sounded distracted again, getting lost in his thoughts again while a slow smile spread across his face. "...you get along really well."

[sees_minato]

"You can sleep if you want. The bed's big enough for the two of you, you should be fine." He smiled at that last remark. "Heh, I guess we do, don't we?"

"Mh." By which he means "come here", and tries to articulate better by reaching his arms out for Pharos while he curls up in Minato's lap. Only he's not ...the right one. Not his, right? That's what Shura said. And he thinks maybe he remembers hearing it somewhere else, but ... he isn't really sure what he remembers and what he doesn't remember.

"Pharos..." He wants to ask something, but he's not sure how to word it.

"What about you Minato? Are you not tired?" Pharos crossed the distance between them quickly, the tiny smile still on his lips. "Yes. I was worried that... Never mind." He shook his head for a second before he looked at Ryoji. "Yes?"

[sees_minato]

Minato shook his head. "I'm fine. If I feel tired I'll get some sleep on the chair or something. Don't worry about me."

Oh, good. Come. He pulls the little boy over to him gently, settling him the groove made by the way he draws his knees up so they can lay together. Wait.. what was he going to ask?

"...Never mind what?"

"That's silly Minato. ...but I guess I won't be able to change your mind. Correct?" Pharos smirked softly before poking Ryoji's cheek. "I was just worried that... After Minato told me that there were... different versions of ourselves... That you two might not get along." The voice was soft and a bit helpless, not knowing how to express what he felt.

"Mm. Mm. He's not mine." Pharos has him smiling now, because somehow the closer he gets the less his head hurts. And he feels warm and content with his head in the other's lap.

"Shura said so... so he's someone else's then. But that's okay, I still like him. He was there when I woke up."

[sees_minato]

He smiled at Ryoji, gently caressing his head. "I like you too. Now try and get some sleep, ok? You had a rough day."

Pharos made a soft noise again, this time one of agreement. "Minato's right Ryoji. You should get some rest." Snuggling closer to Ryoji, he glanced at Minato. "You will still be there when we wake up, right?"

"Of course. I won't leave you."

Mmm. He's sleepy.. but.. what was that thing he wanted to ask?

"Pharos..." It takes him a while to remember it, and then it's just a vague sense of what he really meant, but the words aren't quite coming out right, and ... he's not even sure he knows what he's talking about anyway.

"If you're here.. how come I am?"

"Because... you are Ryoji. I'm Pharos. There is a difference between that. Maybe we are one and the same where you're from... but-" He touched Ryoji's forehead. "-maybe you are simply here because you want to be here. I am not sure." Pharos went quiet again, his free hand reaching out to grab Minato's sleeve. Making sure he really wouldn't leave.

"No.. I don't think so. I think we're separate, mostly. Except for sometimes." It took a moment to realize that he isn't sure why he knows that, and now he's confused all over again.

"I don't know why I'm here. I really don't. I need to ask someone, but he's off on a date..."
