(no subject)
This Sunday will mark four weeks until the wedding! I'm not freaking out yet, I promise. All the planning and plotting is finally starting to come together. Last week, I signed myself up for a day of fun needles in unfortunate places. Wednesday morning I went to get my second shot for my Hepatitis A & B vaccine. Now I will be totally protected in Africa. From there, I went to the eye doctor to have some skin tags removed from my eyelid. No one knows the pain like someone sticking a needle into your eyelid. The Novocaine burns like a mother. But now my mom can't say, "when you gonna get those ugly things removed".
In the afternoon, I had my yearly gyn appointment and they found a spot they wanted to remove. I thought a needle in my eyelid was painful, I was very wrong. I'll spare you the details, I seem to be fine, but things were very uncomfortable for a few days.
On Sunday, I had a riding lesson and the horse I was riding (not mine) stopped unexpectedly at a jump. I landed in the middle of the jump. The bruise on my ass is very ugly and will probably take another week to go away. The lump on my head seems to have gone down though. yay.
So, here's to the weekend! yay! It just has to get better, right? I'm getting my braces removed on Monday! Hurray for being able to eat sticky things again. I also am hungering for a nice crunchy baguette. Maybe I'll treat myself to a trip to Whole Foods for some yummy cheeses, but I probably won't have any money since they will probably want the balance due on my braces when they take them off. It's nice that they finished ahead of schedule, but I was kind of hoping to still stick to the payment plan. We will see.
Next weekend, the 20th and 21st, Tim and I will be on the East Coast. We are flying in Friday night. Saturday, I have a 9am hair appointment. From there, we will drive to MD for the Rennfest, staying somewhere in MD probably. Sunday afternoon we are going to the Eagles/Steelers game and Sunday night we will win a lot of money at the casino. ;) Monday morning we will be getting our marriage license and then flying home.
That is the current plan. I'm going to try to find a comfortable position to take a nap at my desk now.
