Don't worry about not being around LJ- we all understand that real life really does come first and as long as you pop in occasionally and let us know that you're still out there...that's fine!

It's coming along really slowly...I have 5 papers left but I'm so stuck with them that it's not a joke...but I'm hoping that I'll soon finish with two and start on the third by the beginning of Oct. It doesn't help matters that on the one paper, I'm doing with a partner and as much as I don't like doing research, etc, she's much slower...

I'm good (except for the bit where I've got a hot pack clamped to my spine - OW! Back still recovering from weeks sleeping on floor).

FIVE papers? *pats you on the head and makes soothing noises* Eek. Hang in there, it's the last stretch. Also have you considered bribing your study partner to speed up? If carrots don't work, strongly suggest chocolate. It always works for me.

yup, FIVE papers! I know that it's the final final stretch and at least I don't have to do any lectures, etc but it is taking forever! :( and yeah, I'll try the bribing. thx for the tip :D

isn't it? It was taken last week at a Red Bull soapbox derby in Vancouver and the boys were there and they even took part in it- Jared beat Jensen to the finish line ;)
