6:15am on my weekend, and now I find that the painters work a six-day week ::waves to the painters climbing through the scaffolding and scuttles inside to change into something other than a white nightgown of doom:: Oops. Guess that puts paid to my next plan to throw loads of washing in the machine and peg my lingerie out on the line. ::sighs and puts another thing off till tomorrow::
Nice to see that they love their work so much they turn up on their time off to do stuff, wonder if they love ironing, because I have a huge pile just sitting here pouting at me.
Now about the fact that they painted the ceilings white instead of a pale caramel? Hmmm, you're painters, can't you tell the difference between colours? Oh, you don't think I should word it quite like that? Okay ::takes deep breath and attempts to tone down my brain:: Nuh. Have to have words just as soon as they clamber up as far as this floor. Particularly about the goddamn scratches they left in my balcony railing. Grrr.
Other breaking news, next part of A Mari (where I ponder yet again on one of life's eternal questions - exactly how good do Dean's legs look in a dress?) up right after I have breakfast and a plunger of real coffee (I lash out with the good stuff rather than instant on a weekend. Wheee! Such an exciting life I lead). The rest sometime over today and tomorrow (squeezes eyes shut because I've already used up 75% of my monthly internet quota and I still have 2 weeks to go! Aaaagh!) because I have already arranged my reward. Going to see Before the devil knows you're dead this evening with a friend. ::rubs hands with glee:: A dark film - yay!
After my treat, it's back to another of the fic. Would you believe I've written 12,000 words of that sucker this week alone between coding and posting A Mari?. ::blinks blearily at the laptop screen:: No wonder I'm tired!
