Right back atcha! My computer died the last time I moved and I was without for nearly a month, so I know exactly what it's like to lose data and have to catch up on stuff. I totally felt pressure to rush and catch up quick, but I probably missed out on a lot of enjoyment that way. I know the internet is all "Right.Now!" but I still think it's okay to take your time once in a while.

I wish us both a year of increased distance and less stress from our families.
That would be nice. I have to wonder if spending so much time away from my family, though, has made me less tolerant of them and less able to cope while with them. Hmm.

As for cute - that doesn't make you or your muse a bad person. It makes you well-rounded and versitile!

I was kind of half joking when I typed that. Mostly it was just me being way more fannish that I'm comfortable being. Sometimes I need to remind myself of moderation, take a breath, step back and don't get too caught up in things. Thanks for the offer to talk, though! It's much appreciated.
