It wasn't like he didn't go looking for her a lot --he was either around her or looking for her most of the time -- but the wedding pictures made him nervous. Humans wanted that. She'd probably want that before she agreed to offspring.
He thought maybe he could do it to some degree. For her. He didn't really look at other women. He found it easy to be friends with them or even to flirt because women usually got feelings and their ramifications much better than men did. Even Kara who generally seemed to think herself incapable of not frakking things up. He wasn't sure where he was at in terms of men but none of them were ever single or interested so that issue would keep until it actually attained some small level of relevancy.
