Saturday night, I ended up with a cookie and milk. Didn't feel like popcorn.
Sunday, I posted my Air Altar info, then, broke fast with ninthraven and zagone. During the Air Altar stuff, I had pulled Ivo's 'Castings' from the shelf (about the Triangle of Stillness). When I opened up to the contents' page, I saw the 'Star of Sight' working. After breakfast, I read it. There is a pre-working called the 'Temple of Isis'. Seems, since I began seeing, and accepting my sight (due to magick school), I've been, instinctively/intuitively, using this method, sans the astral construction support. My eyes, right, left, and third, form a triangle. A pyramid forms from the triangle. I focus through the apex, I go through violet, then dark, then light with the seeing. I return the same way.
Things that make you go hmm.
Went for tea and writing. Came home, played on the computer, had some dinner. Watched 'Hedwig and the Angry Inch' with ninthraven and zagone.
Got ambushed by the Mercury retrograde. For me, it was falling into an old, old pattern of wanting to mitigate and fixing other's situations, and being frustrated when I couldn't. Coupled with mine own frustration of not taking care of, not being merciful to, and not being good to myself.
Have taken to reading the Lynda S. Robinson mystery series before going to bed. They are set in ancient Egypt (King Tut). They are interesting enough to hold my attention, without requiring oodles of thought. A nice way to relax into sleep, sometimes. Still fighting the rhythm.
This morning, I woke up at 8.30am (set the alarm). Feeling mostly ambivalent. But no litany. The sunlight is a little gray, rather than golden. I'm running off to the clinic to pick up some paperwork before lunch. Laundry is in the offing. Tonight at DCRadFey potluck, the first of the series of Pansy Colloquia. It'll be an ok day.
Also, this past weekend, not_the_pope's home was the victim of sewage back-up. Check out her LJ for the latest reports, including the discovery of the 'Lost Faucet of Antioch' tm.
