Bless us.
I'm up early because I have a somewhat, for me, long day planned.
First, I'm reading Tarot up at
Blue Lotus Treasures from 11.30am til 1.30pm. This is a new day idea we're trying for November. And I'm reading tomorrow, Saturday, from 2-4pm. Come on out and see me!
Second, I have an appointment with Teacher after my readings. We'll see how that goes.
Yesterday, I spent the noontide making up 13 hamburgers. I had a cheeseburger for lunch, then. And now I have easy leftovers to reheat and make various meals out of: hamburgers on a bun, hamburger steaks, crumbled on a salad or in a tortilla, etc., so on, and furthermore. Which makes things easier for me in the evening when my energy begins to ebb.
Next up, (maybe on Sunday) the magickal lentil and turkey sausage stoup. To explain the magickal lentil reference... these were used in a Samhain ritual welcoming the newborns. They were blessed and everyone go to take some home. Since we brought the lentils and didn't hand them all out (we brought a lot), they still got blessed and we have just over a pound of them. I need to divide up some chicken breasts and freeze them. I'm on the look out for a cheap ham steak for split pea soup, too. Reminds me I need celery and and a couple of horse carrots [huge tough ones, best for stewing/stock/simmering.
Have a better and blessed day!
