I am grateful I will be seeing the doctor next week. My hips ache so when I'm in bed sleeping, in fact, the pain wakes me up. But I have a regularly scheduled medical appointment next week. So, taken care of.
Today, I started on my writing my books project. The first is Cookery, Potions, & Spells. Veddy exciting! I have a list of synonyms for the word 'book'. I'm a Leo, amongst other things, and I want over-the-top names for books. Because it is my epic, I get what I want. But I can't decide which one yet.
Anyway, I'm writing in the recipes I have used. This isn't a cookbook, it is my cookery. Meaning, I've done it. I have things on my list to put in, my bread recipes, Mom's macaroni and cheese, my swiss steak recipe, the curry bun recipe, just to name a few. What I have down now is Ale Bread, with scallion and cheese, Beer Bread, Corn Bread, Casserole Carousel, and Mix-N-Match Soup. Along with Monastery Tortellini Garlic Soup, Chicken and Salsa Soup, and Hamburger Soup. Recipes are going in as I find them. Because these are actually used, as opposed to selected from the among. My books, my ways!
It helps me, in this project, to have the covers cut and ready. Call it an impetus. Works for me. I need to do those soon.
And it's all about me.
I did figure out I'm going to have to buckle down and SCHEDULE my time. Today, I used 2 hours on the internet, 45 minutes in self cleaning, over an hour on my spiritual practices throughout the day, about 2 hours on writing my books, 1/2 hour on lunch, a 90 minute afternoon break (which included some virtual assistant work), supper shopping and prep and eating, more writing, more virtual assistant work, a walk to Dupont for ice cream, and an internet search for a blood pressure cuff replacement for my aunt. And here I am.
You now know what I did all day, except for one thing. I was asked to cover another reader's shift at Blue Lotus Treasures tomorrow, Saturday. Go me!
Now, some reading, some rest, some cat therapy, and sleep.
