Volume 6 of the Persona 4 manga ends just as the Tatsumi Port Island trip begins. Minatooooooooo This will probably be the only time we see him here, though it looks like the next volume for the P3 manga is (finally) out. It's been too long. I can't remember anything.

Also, now I have to wait however many months before I get to see silly not!drunk shenanigans from the group, and hopefully other amusing moments the anime didn't cover or whatever. also I still think stripper!Yu was a bit too much.

The other nice thing in this volume was how they handled the Void Quest dungeon, overall, and the Hanged Man social link, which involves Saki Konishi's younger brother. So rather than having Souji be the main part of that link, it really was all Yosuke. The battle ends with a rank up. Guess this is a sign the others will also get a persona upgrade.

- The official site for Rune Factory 4 is finally up, though I wonder if this was why I couldn't even access RF: Oceans' website for (what felt like) ages. omg the music

- Black Rock Shooter: The Anime finished. I still need to watch the middle episodes properly, but I'm basically concluding that everything breaksss is what's happening, and the final episode has a rainbow cannon. That is all.

- Also, finally finished Hakuoki, though I seem to be missing some encyclopaedia terms and one or two gallery images. Thankfully there's a chapter select present so collecting the CGs shouldn't be too hard.

Overall: I liked it, but it took a while before I really got into the story, so I'll probably have to replay earlier routes again at some point.

And something to keep in mind is not to play this for too long/in one sitting, unless you really, really like reading with the occasional choice (also might help if you're interested in the time period). I managed three routes before I had to put it aside to kill things elsewhere. The skip text feature is obviously a very good thing, as well as the quick save/load function.

I also couldn't really get over how the game had to load every time a character spoke/changed expression/pose, even if that is sort of inevitable with a UMD. And how, once the music finished and needed to loop, there would be a moment of silence before starting again. It just bugged me. Especially the music one, because I kept thinking something important was happening and was disappointed every. single. time.

It was also kind of hard to work out which choice was the 'right' one. The first half occasionally had two to three, with some being hard to tell which characters it would lead to, while the second half was just sort of. Working out which one that character/path wanted.

Not that it was too hard to work out, since you have quick save/load hurr.

And the whole game's voice acted, but I'm impatient so I usually didn't let them finish speaking except for when one of the characters went nuts. That was awesome. Guess I'll listen properly next playthrough.

Not that it's going to happen anytime soon. Don't know if I'll do an actual write-up for this yet, though there are other things I want to ramble about. Hmm

And now for a random photo dump of old things I never got around to showing because. I don't know. I was lazy and kept putting it off.

[games, games, and... more game-related things. ayup]

Official Design Works! I also happen to have the Persona 4 one, and Soejima's art book.

And then they got an English release and I cried. But not really, though I'm in no hurry to buy those versions. I still want to buy the Okami Official Complete Works book, now that I think about it ffff

Nier OST, Xenogears Orchestral Album and Geso Suikoden I & II. Why didn't they ever release it in English I'd totally throw my money at it OTL Basically I play it with an FAQ and lament over it. Or something.

It'd be nice if Suikoden II got a PSN release at the very least.

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaahh Sora no Kiseki The Animation Collector's Edition.

And the CE for volume 2. It seems to have less than the first (which had, what, a small film strip and a booklet with info and concept art and stuff), but it does have a soundtrack CD I need to listen to.

Here, have another shot of the nendoroids. /pointless

I bought Dengeki Maoh solely for this, and the chapters were during the lull of murders and dungeons. Also, after realising that the Island trip had just started made me a little sad. Drunk people! Awkward love hotel stuff! Visiting old haunts! You know.

And the Ao no Kiseki calender. It's awesome and sort of out of place. I have no regrets.
