last few weeks
What a strange last couple of weeks. Being home has been so far, a really surreal experience. I have pretty much been out & about all day everyday/night... having a great time. Not looking forward to taking up responsibilities again & starting working. Starting to miss my short-lived home away from home...& considering going again next year to make the most of my visa.
Have caught up with so many people I had not seen in year or years before leaving also, which has been fantastic. Nick & Jim - was pretty unreal to see you at Parklife, I really had forgotten how well we know each other.. will have to catch up soon. Alex & Shane - Picked up just as we left off, after two years. Lots of laughs.
It's also been great to hang out with the crew again. After all, they & my family were the real reason I ever felt homesick.
I feel so fresh though, which is such a new experience. I actually feel like although certain things scare me about the near future, that everything is going to work out OK.
