Disclaimer: Victorious isn't mine.

They both really like to sing. And even though one of them can only write songs about frogs, and the other rarely sings words at all, it’s easily their passion.

She thinks he’s weird, with his puppet and his shaggy hair and his glasses, and he thinks she’s stupid with her bad jokes and inability to quite understand exactly what’s going on. She hates that he falls in love too easily, and he hates that she just can’t seem to fall in love.

But they love each other, and they know it’s for real because even when they say nothing at all they’re speaking a thousand words to each other.

He acts like it doesn’t matter to him - but it does, more than anything - and she acts like she doesn’t care - but she really wishes he’d really love her - and they finally say three words, eight letters to each other but it comes out all wrong.

I hate you.

Because he really made her angry with his comment about her hair, and she really made him angry when she called Rex a puppet.

But they love each other all the same, and after a few quiet moments, neither of them can stand the thought of being in hate. They exchange apologies, and that’s probably as close to an I love you as they’ll ever get.

So she sings her la’s and he sings about frogs and they are surely the princess and the frog cliché love story, only neither of them are sure how it got to be that way.
