I would have to say, the show was a lot better than I anticipated. The PussyCatDolls opened...damn, those girls can dance! They had a couple quick costume changes and put on a cabaret type show...that's what I was looking forward to ;) I only know a couple of their songs...I never realized pretty much only one girl sings.
Then the Black Eyed Peas came out...they did a lot of stalling it seemed...they would do like 5 minutes of making up songs about Fresno. Each of the members is from a diff cultural background, so they would do their own thing and that person's country flag would come up on the big screen(Mexican, Jamacian and Phillipino), all while the others were changing. Fergie sang a lot of 'LA-LA-LA'...did one handed carwheels across stage and shook her ass like an earthquake was goin on back there. There was a lot of beatboxing and breakdancing too.
I think one of the coolest things about their show was when ALL the lights went off- two black guys got on stage with lil kid tables and chairs and just sat there for a minute...so everyone was wondering wtF?!?! Then they started a STOMP kinda thing...banging the table on the ground while the other guy was beating the tables with drum sticks and then TOSSING the drumsticks to another guy, who would then pass it back and still keep the beat.
oh, and there was A LOT of skanky looking chicks there too...I think sam was right, we should have gone all hoed out, haha...we would have fit in perfectly. There were many girls wearing clothes they had NOOO business wearing -which made it fun for sam and I- people watching like we do.
