Poor little bugga...
I had to take Yodi to the vet this morning...
He was fine when I woke up at 5:30am.
I left to the store at 8am...soemthing had to have happend for the little bit that I was gone because after I got back, finished up a batch of payments and took him outside to go potty like I usually do, he started acting wierd.
He'd run, but when he'd slow down it was like he had a stroke or something...one side of his body would give out, but he'd keep trying to walk. His eyes look way different too...very lethargic. I called the vet to take him in. They didn't want him in until 2pm. But after watching Yodi try to get around I called back and told them that it had gotten worse, which it did.
The vet said he might have gotten into something toxic/poison. I can't figure out what it might be...I've looked all around the house, he's even blocked in from going to the back of the house...whatever he got into, it couldn't be hard to find.
All I can think of is this cat toy that has feathers on it. I noticed he'd been playing with that while I was gone to the store because a feather was ripped off.
They wanna keep Yodi for the day for observation....which the estimate was $305.00. They asked for $150 deposit...I only had $50. The clerk told me that they usually only take half down. I told her to just give me my fucking dog and I'll hit it over the head with a shovel to put him out of his misery, for free. I would NEVER do anything like that, but WTF? This is already going to be an expensive thing. They don't even take payments so I'm gunna have to find a way to pay this in full when I pick him up. Hopefully there's still money in savings.
Cameron is going to blow his lid when he finds out. I can hear it already.
