went to hang with a friend yesterday.
i haven't really gotten out of my house all summer unless i had to, so this was nice. even if it was a family friend which meant i went with my brother and sister, and we... don't actually have that much in common. but i always think it's nice seeing family friends (you know, the ones you don't hate!) because... they've known you for ages. stephen's a year older than me, so he's really known me for my whole life, ahaha. we used to live within like five minutes of him, then we moved to a different city (still close by enough to drive every once in a while and stuff), now we're back within like fifteen minutes driving.
i mean, going to visit mostly just involves lounging around his room or living room and playing phoenix wright and watching stupid videos on youtube, but that's more productive than most of the stuff i do at home anyway.
then at around 10 at night two of his friends came over and he sprayed them all with a 2L bottle of coke. well. i mean. it was a coke bottle. then we drank it and he filled it with water. then he came back inside for about an hour and his friends kept calling to try to get him to come out to the garage to ambush him, so he got my brother and sister to go with him armed with water bottles and everything. (i stayed inside. did not really want. it's okay, you can call me a stick in the mud now.) i think they were at it for another hour, then we had to leave at midnight.
i'm pretty sure we're going back later today, though, just to hang out again. :3
also, it's occurred to me that i always end up using the random tag for pretty much every post i make. i think that says something about me, i just don't want to know what it is. :D;; bye now~.
