X-Files
We saw the X-Files Revelations DVD set in the grocery store yesterday and I found my VHS copy of the first movie, so the plan for the next week (work schedule/stress permitting) is to get the Boy caught up on the series and for me to refresh my memory. I have all but two of the episodes on the Revelations DVD, so we'll catch up with those and then I'll borrow the missing two so the Boy is completely caught up. He's being a really good sport about all this, considering he's not a Fan Boy at all, and I'm dragging him to Mamma Mia! with my girlfriends this weekend. I guess the trade off is that I'll have to go see Batman with him in a couple of weeks.
I've been staying spoiler free (well, mostly) though it's very tempting to look. It helps that I'm super busy at work right now and so I don't have much time to stray. What is more exciting is that I'm actually excited about writing again. It feels like it's been forever, but it's been fun getting back into the swing of things. Anyone have any good recs -- something long and angsty and MSR?

I do have an update on Fugue in Blue Minor II, that VOY fic that has been in progress since oh, 2001? I have written a good chunk of it to date, enough so that I might consider posting what I have for now. There is one thing that's going to change from the earlier plans, so I guess that's what happens when you spend seven years on a WiP and expand/change ideas on what ought to be for the characters, yes? Funny, this is pretty much the reason why I *don't* read any WiPs.
