Oh hey there friends!
It's thanksgiving break for most of my customers, and I had a couple of extra minutes to finally update this thing...hooray!
Work is awesome, I absolutely love it. I'm also kinda good at it, which always comes as a surprise. :) Who's kidding who, I was DESTINED to sell t-shirts. But seriously, it's awesome. I get to know when all the sweet barcrawls are going down.
Speaking of which, the drinking habit is getting out of control again. I had it fiercely reigned in during the summer... and by fiercely I mean I went out like once or twice a week. It's the same thing now, but the once or twice I go out is like... massive binge drinking. CLASSY.
I am in love with Madison. I'm there entirely too much, and I completely blame Leah since she always shows me a fabulous time when I'm visiting. What a bitch. But seriously... I want to live there. Forever. And swim in the lake, and have a dog named Bubba... and eat at Med Cafe every day. YAY!
Thanksgiving the 'rents are coming down to Chicago so Ron can do some business, so that should be fun. Not sure what we're doing for the big day, but Leah's mom has invited us over for dinner, so that should be super cute. I'll see if Ron and Bon can hang with that nutso family. Unlikely, but I might force them to try.
Speaking of dinner, I've become a semi chef thing to the boys who live across the street. It's starting to become a weekly thing, which frankly, I find hilarious. While I feed them food, they feed me food. It's a fabulous relationship. It went from Moroccan chicken, to Tuscan pasta, to apple-stuffed pork chops, and I'll probably do some sort of steak dish tomorrow. Yummy! I love practicing new recipes on willing guinea pigs.
As for men, broke up with my boyfriend about a month and a half ago. Just wasn't clicking, wasn't feeling it in my gut. I've come to trust my instincts, and that usually serves me well! Plus, me, single, and on the prowl is pretty frigging hilarious.
Anyway, I suppose I should do some work or something. I'll try and update this with more random/hilarious entries in the next couple of months since I'll be having some down time!
