Ok, so here are some pics from last weekend. (june 22nd)
Us FuckHers went up to Columbus for Pride. We did a show with Betty, that band from the L word or something. I talked to a couple of the Betty people, they were pretty cool.
Columbus Pride Pics The 22nd of June was a very good day. I was very happy.

This is me wanting to go see naked guys... the lesbians weren't down with it.
Now for me and Al's camping trip.
Camping Trip Pics! The day after Columbus, Al, Kenzy (her dog), and I drove down to the Smokey Mountains in TN. Good times were had by all. I was raised on camping, real camping, not that crap fake camping with an RV, so my parents have a lot of gear we could borrow. I packed a lot of stuff and Al thought it was too much. So, I gave her a lecture about how important it was to be prepared while camping, because anything could happen. Just then I got a phone call from my dad asking me "Did you forget your sleeping bag? Because there's one still here." Sure enough, I did forget my sleeping bag, cause I was uber prepared like that.
We drove down and stopped at some fort. Then we went to a leather store called "LongRider Leather." Come on guys, with a name like that you can't not go. The people in the store were very confused... well, about me anyway. Al seemed to pull it off ok cause of the tatoos. We drove through Pigeon Ford and Gatlinberg which was special. The traffic sucked and people were looking at us. The theme of the trip then became "Take a fucking picture." We came to the conclusion that either these people had never seen a dog before (Kenzy) or they had never seen queers. We may never know the truth.
It was almost dark when we got to our camp site. Al collected wood.
I made a fire, with my hair of course. (ignore the matches sitting by the ring...)
Now, the fire looks great there, but the thing is... that fire soon was gone, because we didn't have any wood and all the wood we had was either green or wet. I spent about an hour or so after that battling with nature to create fire. Needless to say, in the end I won. I told that fire "I a man, you are nature. You will obey me!" Lucky for it, it did. I mean, it's not like the fire could of become an inferno and burned us alive or anything.
I finally got it going well enough to cook off of. Al turned to me and said "Hey Jac, did you by any change bring anything to cook burgers with?" I stopped, realizing that I had not only forgotten my sleeping bag, but I had totally neglected to bring any cooking utensils. It's not my fault! I was planning on utilizing nature! It worked out ok. We ate, eventually... I roasted a pepper on a stick and we carefully flipped our burgers with plastic forks. By then end of it, we were pretty loopy from hunger and very tired. I knocked over the plastic silverwear and it was the funniest thing ever. We then relaxed by the smoke pile (aka fire). I fought off the smoke with my legs, which went very well.
The tent was having issues as well and didn't stand up straight. I guess it was queer too.
Kenzy dug holes around the campsite, to booby trap it just incase anyone tried to attack us. She also made sure everyone in the camp was aware that she meant business, by barking at everything that moved, be it a person, a bicycle, the ranger, or a baby in a wagon. Well done, Kenzy.
The next day, Al and I went on a hike up a creek which was uber fun. We climbed in the river a lot. Al tried to climb over the creek without getting wet. She was mostly successful... course the only reason she wasn't is cause she went a way I told her to go, and planted her foot on a log which then magically replaced itself with water. I played the opposite game climing in the water and went swimming. I only fell once, and it was very suave looking.
I love this pic of Al.
We brought Kenzy down to the river too so she could play a bit.
We didn't see a ton of wild life. We did see a wild turkey with 4 or 5 babies so that was cool. Plus we saw butterflies and fish and stuff. Also saw a brown creeper (bird), or I thought it was one. I quickly pulled out my bird book and sure enough, it was a creeper cause i'm just that big of a dork. Also collected some cool rocks and made Al listen to me talk about geology. We had dinner and then it was already time to go which was lame. I had a test the next day so we couldn't stay on to monday like we had planned. We piled in the car and took this picture. I think Kenzy looks amazing in it.
So that was the weekend, and it was awesome. Adios.
