'I take it you can't get a deal with your provider at home?' Oh! Tbh I didn't even think about that possibility! maybe I should look around for their prices...
Luckily it will be not in the middle of the summer, but more like in September. I hope it won't be that hot anymore x_x Last year was really not fun, everytime you left the building you couldn't breathe for at least 10 secs.
'Did people start as beginners or did you need some Japanese knowledge' Most of them didn't even know Hiragana before...
We have lots of classes and it's really, really fast. About 50 kanji a week, plus two lessons in the textbook and a shitload of grammar x_x 'you're supposed to be sort-of-fluent by the end' I think it depends of how much time you're actually willing to spend with studying...but yeah I'm pretty sure that we'll be pretty fluent in the end. The first 2 semester were mostly about the language. Right now, after the summer break we will have a bit less grammar and more cultural studies, plus old Japanese. It's really fun and everything! It's just that it has some subjects NO ONE needs because they're absolutely not related to Japanese at all. (Like Geistesgeschichte, Grundbegriffe von Literatur und Sprachwissenschaft ewww) And this is exactly the stuff I always manage to fail at...

Yeah, might be worth it! I'm with 02 and I can pay €2/day in EU countries for 25 MB. Which is not a lot but enough for phone internetz.

LOL! I think anyone who'll go on to get a master's from your degree would beg to differ, but I can see how it's a pain in the ass. *g*
Glad to hear they are offering good and lots of language classes!
