Effects: Strangely enough, you can't use your sense of touch, smell, or taste (not that you're really going to eat anything.) You'll be able to see yourself touching things, but you won't feel anything at all. However, you'll be able to feel the emotions described and you can hear and see just fine.
Notes: Since Al can't fall asleep in canon, he's going to black out. In the middle of the day. >.> In the middle of the road. So feel free to also respond with actual physical interaction. Just please note if it'll be interaction; I'll assume it's response via dreamberry unless otherwise specified. (Also, at the end of the dream, when Al sees a child, :3 that's his real body, but your character probably shouldn't know that.) Also, I'm gonna say no to lifting his armor and looking inside for now! If your character decides to do it, Al'll be waking up just in time to stop you :3

Ignore the background and pretend they're in a field :PStyle: Either is fine!
Location: Somni 3rd district; steps of a museum
Alphonse liked making time to explore the city. It was larger than he'd first expected, and nothing like the cities he'd seen back in Amestris. He'd spent a good hour getting (wonderfully) lost in the third district of Somni. He was standing on the steps of a museum when suddenly, his vision flickered. He takes a step backwards, holding onto his helmet.
And then, everything went dark, and 7 feet of armor crashes to the ground.
--------------------------------------
Alphonse is sitting in a field somewhere. There are pretty flowers, tall grass, and from the looks and sounds of it, a light breeze. He feels a small twinge of regret; there's nothing like being able to feel and he's sure the flowers smell beautiful. At first, it's almost as if he's stuck in a void.
But then, a scratching sound brings his attention to the ground. Almost instantly, kittens of various sizes and colors appear and surround him. The regret is forgotten quickly and replaced with an overwhelming sense of joy as Al bents over to pick up one of the kitties. It mewls in his hold but doesn't attempt to escape.
More scratches against his armor, and Al realizes that some of the kittens are trying to climb onto him. But because there's not much to grab onto (him being a suit of armor and all) they're failing at it. He holds out his massive hand and easily scoops up three of the kittens and gently places them on the leg of his armor.
Suddenly, the field dims significantly. Looking up, Al spots a figure in the distance. For a moment, he forgets the kittens, feeling a strange and indescribable pull towards this figure. He places the kittens lightly on the ground and gets up. Making sure not to step over them, he makes his way toward the figure. But before he gets too far, he notices a small, white kitten attempting to climb onto his shoe. Somehow, Al doesn't think it would be a good idea to bring him.
"No..." he says softly, bending over the scoop the kitten up and place him down a little ways away. "I'm sorry, but you can't come with me." But when he looks up again, the kittens are gone, and the figure is much closer now. There's a strange sense of familiarity surrounding the figure, but Al can't quite place where he's seen this person before. It's a blond boy, his hair long and disheveled, and he's all skin and bones. And he's naked.
He's sitting on the ground and it looks like he hasn't eaten in years. For some reason, Alphonse feels drawn to this boy. The boy looks up, smiles, and slowly (it looks like it's taking him so much effort...) brings an arm up towards Al, as if reaching out to him.
Feeling compelled by something he can't explain, Al reaches out to the boy as well. But before he can touch him, he's suddenly dissolving.
"Wait!" He cries out to the boy. He feels an urgent need to be near him. To touch him. But he can only helplessly watch the boy fade away as he dissolves into the air. The last thing he sees before everything goes dark again is the boy's sweet smile.
--------------------------------------
The hulking piece of armory suddenly bolts upward from the ground. "W-what?"
