In case you've been living under a rock - Colombian special forces rescued 15 hostages from the FARC about two weeks ago by posing as UN aid workers who purportedly had orders from a FARC commander to transfer the hostages.
Among those rescued were three American engineers who had been held hostage over five years. CNN did a 30-minute interview that gives an incredible account of what they experienced in captivity as well as how the rescue went down. This whole clip is really worth watching (though no thanks to the interviewer - what professional journalist says, "gotcha" in an interview?).
