ive had this ongoigng plan for a civics / social studies course.
you define the parts and functions of states / countries
then give live examples from history
lastly you assign the class
into distinct countries
you hand out basic
background info
they make the
choices you
play god
and
influence
the world they
are actors in.

can we feed our people?
will we go bankrupt?
hows our trade?
we need more engineering!
should we prepare against natural disaster?
should we align ourselves with them
should we break alliances
what is the point of a state?
to gain or to exsist?

ill flesh it out more later but atleast ive got some of it down

just design a world for them to operate

like an rpg

except you are the computer throweing andom variable into

their gameplay

country, teaching, idea
