And what she wore when we last met - it was pink and black.

I bought myself a pair of black step-on leggings recently and now I feel all awesome and accomplished. I've always had black tights, but these are way more comfortable and more everyday-wear.

I love street style - slouchy bags, big cardigans, coloured tights, pinafores, vests, scarves - it's just difficult to get into here, where it's only acceptable to wear t-shirts and jeans/miniskirts and everything else is considered overdressing and/or tacky. Seriously, when I'm studying in the UK next year I'm gonna start layering my clothes like a crazy person (only, y'know, ~tastefully~ and shit). Or, y'know, I could always do it now and not care what people think/say (yes, I'm talking to you, Danny baby!). Although, it doesn't really help that I have age-old self-esteem issues and everytime I leave the house I always feel like I'm being silently judged by random people with their disapproving eyes, heh. I've tried the vest thing (I seriously need a new one; a boy-style vest, and not the halter type that I've gotten bored of), and the leggings/tights under skirts/dresses thing, and the pashmina thrown over a white tee thing, and purple skinny jeans and flowers in my hair; I have a pair of neon pink tights that I never had a chance to wear, but honestly, I'm a pretty boring dresser (or so I've been told; yes, I'm talking to you, Danny baby!).

My study break has started and finals will be on the 10th. I'd like to believe I'm starting to recover from my whole flaw period; I managed to finish my writing credit in time (given, I did it the day before it was due and only finished it two hours before the submission time ended, but hey! I finished it, okayyy! All I can do now is hope for a comfortable passing mark and thank God that grades from first year aren't included in my final degree) and I don't feel quite so miserable quite so often now. :') I'm beginning to stray from my pocket diet (i.e. staying on a budget), though - thanks to, oh, I don't know, a certain lunch at Chili's, perhaps? D':

P.S. I saw Juno and There Will Be Blood recently. Frankly, I don't understand why they're both so critically-acclaimed. I can't stand that Juno bitch. *shudders* And TWBB is just... . Eh, maybe it's just me. ;p  Recs, people, more recs!

P.P.S. Regarding the previous entry, we're okay now. :) Love you, 'poopie.

P.P.P.S. I'm getting hooked on Avril's The Best Damn Thing album all over again. *dies* I don't care what anybody says or how much I can't believe it myself, but I love this album. :'(
