Lights Flying Thru the Nite Sky
Last night I stood in my back yard and exercised my neck muscles while following and hunting down the multiple lights dashing, blinking, and generally decorating the Sky. (And I'm not talking about stars this time.) Some of the lights were the straightforward white-ish dot (with the leashed-pet blinking colored dot) of commercial airplanes flying over head. Those are common in my neighborhood since we are just a few miles north of the Minneapolis International Airport.
But last night, I also saw and heard flying "birds" of unusual make. One glowed with substantial sections of both red and green light. Another nearly "roared" by on it's rare angle while showing off it's spiffy speed, ring of white-ish light, and a blinking spot near the back. Other new-to-me light displays went across our sky, but I don't recall enough to describe. Just that the skies were busy.
Now . . . I should also mention that the Military & IT'S airport live in the commercial airport area. I assume SOME of the flying wonders were from that airport.
Although I do NOT and DID NOT drink any alcohol, I have been very tired lately. Perhaps I was napping in my back deck chair and my worn brain decided to entertain me with some fun fantasy. Maybe I'm just losing control.
