My fingers are crossed for you and Maggie to see the Lovely Venus today. And I hope your work time goes well and swiftly. Take care of yourself and give sweet Maggie a loving pat &/or hug for me.

About an hour ago, I peeked out my 2nd floor east window and saw that lovely star Venus again. I moved over to look more southerly to greet Moon, then moved back to Venus' window. Just in time to see her fade away, pop back out to say "Good Day to You", and then she disappeared behind a cover of clouds for the day.

Sometimes such things just hide -- even in our memories. I didn't see any in the evening, although this morning I had a nice view of both Venus and Grandmother Moon in the breadth of the east/east-south sky early this morning.
I hope it doesn't heat up too soon, since I'll only have a little time to do some yard mowing this morning. Also hope the neighbors don't decide I'm mowing and making noise too early on a Sunday . . .
