Wednesday ... Another Countdown Day ...

One less day between me and the State Fair!

This morning I spent about 10 minutes at 5:00 on the back deck, a jacket on my back, another draped over my knees (~49F/9C), and a mug of hot coffee in my hand. The slightly-over-half moon glowed like a distant searchlight of golden hues and my citysky-stars were cool and lovely. Orion is climbing the sky dome from the southeast. It's great to see him again! I'm looking forward to watching him stride across the sky over the coming weeks/months.

The early morning was quiet. Birds must have been sleeping in. Little noise from traffic with only a low hum to attest to other folks being up and moving. Speaking of moving ...

This is my week for making our lunches and a couple of apples await slicing while sandwich makings are sitting around not "making" themselves ...

Have a wonderful, beautiful day, my friends! Oh! Today is "Hawaiian Day" at work. I've dug out a few old plastic lei imposters and my flowered blouse and dark green summer slacks that must stand in for a grass skirt. Not anything like "authentic", but the best I can do! ;-P
