Today (July 12, 2017) is the day that internet sites and users around the country (and beyond?) protest the changes being considered and even planned by our current Chairman of the FCC, Ajit Pai. Pai wants to destroy Net Neutrality and make it standard for ISPs to regulate access and speed--charging extra for higher speeds, of course.
Pai's plans go beyond that, as in promptly moving to roll back consumer protections put in place during President Obama's Administration. But . . . what else should one expect from someone who made his name and his fortune as a lawyer for one of the largest of the ISP corporations--Verizon?
I don't have a wide audience to help prompt hundred or thousands to lodge protests, but I do urge my friends to follow the link below to make your feelings known and maybe participate further. We have until July 17th to make official protests.
