Remember the Freebies I picked up at garage sales on Saturday? This collection of stones, crystals, and glass was the first one I selected. Snowflake obsidian, agate, quartz chips, flattened marbles, and a crystal/amethyst spear point that appears to have led an interesting life. I don't know just what the black chunk in the upper right is yet, but it is quite lightweight. I'll be digging around to figure it out.
These marbles actually cost me $1. There were a few more that were broken and/or chipped and we disposed of them. On the far left are a couple of beige clay marbles and a brown and black crocky, several others appear to also be vintage and probably of some value. We are not marble experts and will need to do some research.
To change the subject: MyJeff took this photo of my red roses and blooming spiderwort a couple of weeks ago. The roses are rather faded now, but they provided plenty of pretty. This was the best bloom production my rose bush has managed in a long time.
