I kinda read this backwards- since hatesex is hardly ever a forray of mie- in fact it kind of squicked me out. But I found your characterization rather interesting.

Ron coming into his own was quite unique- but the development of his character seems to be taking a turn towards the Dark.
You see that Harry on the other hand has either not taken that step yet- and while he can be an accomplice his character wouldn't initiate it. Even during and after there is this squickiness about him with the situation.

Ron is almost like a Devil possessed but with a sort of control that I doubt most people would usually grant the character. He doesn't seem like quite the same ROn but rather a Ron who Could Be.

Harrry was right in several ways- Draco by nature is mean, petty and vindictive. But in a way this kind of showed that Malfoy Jr. is constantly setting himself against the Golden Trio- and simply the odds in numbers proves that he'll be unable to hold is own.

To an extent Ron and Harry do want to go back to before- but is tha teven possible? Turnabout- its made them into hypocrites hasn't it? THe darker side of that righteous Gryffindor rage, which tends to be so self serving.

I'm not sure if Draco would quite be able to look at them the same way- and it make sme wonder for the character, since the risks he took just nailed him into a bed. I'd seriously kill for a followup- simply to find out what is going on with the characters...

Oh, thank you so very much for the detailed feedback, especially for the comments on Ron. For me, he felt exactly like the 'Ron who could be' - older, and more mature. To me, Harry was more vindictive, at least in attitude if not in actions. Ron... I wouldn't call him 'Dark' - he has that kind of attitue in the books, and here he gets to live it out instead of being stopped by Hermione or Harry... And he's far more careful than he *could* be :).

Exactly! I don't think it's possible, and yes, they're exposed as hypocrites - no better than James/Sirius, probably worse when they feel in the right. But more human than Gryffindor icons of virtue, too :).

I'm so glad this worked for you even if it's not your favourite theme - but hatesex is the only way I can get H/D or R/D to work ;).
