Bakura was born in the village of Kul Elna. He had a rather normal childhood up until he was ten. At age ten his village was slaughtered to create the 7 millennium (sennth) items. This caused quite a bit of mental trauma to Bakura and caused him to hate the Pharaoh and want the items; which he believes belong to him since they came from his village.
Bakura had to survive on his own, causing him to become introverted and hardened. The experiences he had created in him a great distrust of all people and only strengthened his hatred of the Pharaoh, and all those who follow him. Bakura took up tomb robbing and become extremely good at it.
When Bakura was around 26 the Pharaoh died and his son (Atem) took over. Bakura decided that he had waited long enough for his revenge and robbed the tomb of the former Pharaoh, dragging his corpse to the Palace and declaring open war on the Pharaoh and his priests. Having lost this first encounter to the Pharaoh’s God Ka, Bakura changes his tactics; following Priest Mahaado to a secluded tomb Bakura fights with him. Mahaado kills himself in the battle and Bakura receives the Sennth Ring. However this was not the end of Mahaado, he had sealed his soul inside of his Ka and became the Dark Magician. Attacking Bakura, Mahaado causes him to fall into a seemingly bottomless pit.
[Personality]
Bakura is extremely distrustful of everyone and never shares anything. He has immense amounts of hatred not just for the Pharaoh, but for his priests and anyone who follows him. Bakura has a twisted sense of humor and loves to inflict pain on others. He also enjoys pain to a certain degree. (SADIST). He doesn’t lack emotions; he just buries them DEEP inside of himself, and never shares them with anyone. He hasn’t cried since he was ten and he hasn’t had a genuine smile since before his village was slaughtered.
When meeting other people Bakura is immediately suspicious of them. He believes that everyone is his enemy but will give them a chance to prove him otherwise. He has a tendency to get into fights and has a short temper, due to his constant suppression of his real emotions. He fears attachment more than anything, due to the horrible loss of his entire village at the age of ten. However he craves contact with people and hates himself for both acting the way he does and his fear of attachement.
If someone does actually mange to become his friend they will see a completely different side of him. While it will take years of trust for him to show his softer and more vulnerable side, he will began to open up to them; on occasion talking about his past. He will let his control of his emotions slip and not be on the constant defensive. Once he has made a friend, he will protect them with his life, for he fears losing them more than anything. This causes him to be a tad overbearing and overprotective at times, but with the best intentions at heart.

[Affection] Bakura is not one to show affection. if he makes friends he will do his best to be nice to them but has extremely diffcultly expressing himself. he would not fall in love, but might show kindness to others and possibly compassion
[Fighting] Bakura is a fighter. he is extremely agile and althetic and can fight with daggers (which he keeps several on him at all times), swords, and bare hands (including wrestling). Bakura is more likely to start fights with others then try and make friends. (see personalitly)
[Other Facts] Bakura still has nightmares and flash backs to the Slaughter of Kul Elna. he has the sennen ring but that doesn't really affect the RP at all.
