I need a new style for the remainder of winter and spring. I'm on my way there, I bought the slinky DHW top and stuff. But I still have a ton of hippy stuff that is perfectly nice and I still like. So I was sitting here thinking, how do I combine my new sleek feminine peices with my old bohemian stuff? Then it was perfectly clear. Carrie Bradshaw does it every day.
I can't believe I just wrote that. I'm a liberated feminist. I'm a politician and a drummer. I'm a womens studies and government major for god's sakes. I am not nor will I ever be Carrie Bradshaw. But fashion is fun and I suppose I can still enjoy cutting edge style while listening to the Indigo Girls and supporting reproductive rights.
So, I've spent the afternoon e-mailing/calling Tim Kaine's campaign office and Avalon (domestic violence shelter/center). Next semester and this summer are going to be busy with me you know saving the world, turning every state blue, and single handedly aving reproductive rights. The morning I spent in the hospital with my dad because my grandma was in the hospital having tests done because of her breast cancer. But more on that later. I'm not in an updating about things that ACTUALLY matter in my life mood.
