All right, it's time for an update.
Where oh where to begin? Well, classes are finished, and I just have my French final tomorrow and my final scene for acting class on Tuesday and then I'm DONE, so that's good.
Murder on 34th Street has been going awesomely. The people I work with are super cool, and I'm glad that this particular company was my first community theatre experience.
Heine Brothers: It's been over two months, and I still love it there. I should share with you something important about this place: One of my very best friends in the world, Sarah Lutz, used to live on Hilliard, which is off of Longest Ave. I would spend the night at her house at least one weekend a month when I was little, and when my dad would pick me up we would swing by Heine Brothers, when it was still a fairly new place. He'd get coffee and I'd get hot chocolate, and I remember thinking what a neat place it was. Sarah moved to New York when we were 13, and two years ago she came to visit Louisville for a day and of course we met there. I still think of those chilly mornings when my clothes still smelled like "Sarah's house" and going into that warm little shop. I think that's around the time I started being a morning person.
And it's really nice not having a job that I hate.
The Cardinal: I've been published in three issues already, and I guess it's okay. I definitely need a new camera, but shooting in certain conditions has really helped me learn how to make my "outdated" camera still do pretty cool things. It's nice to keep in practice though--the crappiness of the paper itself isn't keeping me from bettering myself as a photographer.
Robbie: *Sigh.*
Our Christmas Tree: Terrific.
