i am awake
So i've been in port huron since thursday taking care of my mom. she just had foot surgery so i'm helping her out for her first few days until the pain settles down. its so funny because my mom is really independent and doesn't really ask or want help so she has been crawling around the house because it hurts too much to put weight on her foot. its so funny. i was in the kitchen last night and it was really dark and all the sudden this dark figure comes moving towards me from out of no where, freaking me the hell out...and who was it? my silly mom crawling her way towards me. haha i love it.
In school news i finally get to join the rest of the poor student population by taking out students loans for my last semester at western. Its really my own fault due to the fact that i sucked at school hard core last year, but hey it was a good learning experience and it's not that bad when you consider the big picture. i could be taking out 40 grand in student loans verses under 5, 000.
my dad and i were joking about him dis-owning me so i could get grants. Apparently my brother told wmu back in the day that he was abandoned by my dad when he applied for fafsa. and i guess he got like 1000 bucks in grants or something. my brother would do something like that. he is crazy after all haha.
i saw addison today. as soon as she saw me her little face brightened and she cried out "JANE!". who knew that a little kid recognizing who i am would make my entire day. i love that little girl. later she came up to me and just wrapped her little arms around my neck and gave me the biggest longest hug.
