billy corgan is bringing back the smashing pumpkins. at first i was stoked, but then i remembered mellon collie & the inifinite sadness and machina: the machines of god. i should call him up and tell him to be sure he brings back the pumpkins that recorded siamese dream and pisces iscariot. i know pisces was a collection of b-sides, but there are some great songs on that album. speaking of sp, there are two pumpkin tribute albums coming out soon. there's also a bob dylan double disc tribute coming out. that's four discs of tribute. and guess what....there are only about three good bands in the whole lot. the murder by death song should be killer.
i read this great interview with one of the guitar players from every time i die where he talks crap about avenged sevenfold. i'm pretty sure he wants to beat them up, and he's kind of a big dude. it sucks that he likes my chemical romance. radiohead's ok computer was voted best album of the last 20 years by spin magazine. i can live with that.
there's something i want to say to someone but someone and i don't really talk. so someone, if you're reading this, know that you are in our (mine and chella's) thoughts. and all cliches about "being here" and "friendly ears" apply - except we mean them.
