The colour of Doctor Who Classic

Still doing my homework for the Francine / Sapphire comparison. I even found a couple of Amos 'n' Andy episodes to listen to, gods help me.

In the meantime, another challenge! At some point I'm going to turn my attention to the original Doctor Who. Help me compile a list of as many non-White characters from the old show as we can think of (it won't prove anything, but will give us some examples to work with).

Tegana, Ping-Cho, various others (Marco Polo)
The Aztecs
Saladin, El Akir (The Crusades)
Mavic Chen (The Daleks' Masterplan)
Jamaica (The Smugglers)
Williams (The Tenth Planet)
Toberman, Kaftan (Tomb of the Cybermen)
Ramon Salamander (Enemy of the World)
Arturo Villar (The War Games)
Harry Slocum (?) (Inferno)
Tony the strong man (Terror of the Autons)
Ambassador Fu Peng and Captain Chin Lee (Mind of Evil)
Cotton (The Mutants)
K'Anpo / Cho-je (Planet of the Spiders)
Namin (Pyramids of Mars)
The Intern (Hand of Fear)
Li Hsen Chang, various Tong members (Talons of Weng Chiang)
Zilda, Cass (Robots of Death)
Veldan (Destiny of the Daleks)
Lin Futu, Kurkutji, Villagra (Four to Doomsday)
Mansell (Enlightenment)
Karina (Warriors of the Deep)
Mercer, Osborn, various others (Resurrection of the Daleks)
Sil's guards (Vengeance on Varos)
Matrona Kani, Frax, Tuza, Sil's guards again (Mindwarp)
John the shopkeeper (Remembrance of the Daleks)
Courtney Pine (Silver Nemesis)
Winifred Bambera, Shou Yuing (Battlefield)
Earl Sigma (Happiness Patrol)
The Ringmaster (Greatest Show in the Galaxy)
Shreela (Survival)
Chang Lee, the gangsters (the 1996 TVM)

(Even just glancing at that list, you begin to question the idea that it's better to have bad representaton than no representation!)
