Lemme rummage for an image of the print... I scanned in a section of kanoko from a haori I have, and ran it through a kaleidoscopic filter to create a geometric repeat pattern.
Erm... though I think the scale might be off. It's supposed to be teeny. It might be smaller XD
The kikko is actually very simple, just very tedious. It's these buttons sewn so they interlock... by hand... over and over... Mostly using the back side.
I just calculated how many buttons this morning... 4700, yes almost five THOUSAND D: I think maybe not so many designs are going to be covered in buttons D:
