Happy Halloween
Well, a pretty low-key Halloween for me. Friday, I didn't feel like doing anything so I sat home and watched special features on "The Fly" (Cronenberg) 2-disc DVD. Saturday I invited a bunch of people over to watch movies ... only Anthony made it but we had a nice time watching "Addams Family Values" and drinking some lovely Black Swan Shiraz. Sunday, went to church, drove out & saw my Granny, then Chip came over & we drank yet MORE wine & visited with our good friend MaryJane. Afterwards, I headed out to Sanctus dressed as one of the gasmask creatures from the new Doctor Who. It was OK ... I got bored after about an hour and left. This evening my little nephew came over dressed as The Hulk, and later Monica came by and we watched "Poltergeist" on TCM. That movie is still pretty creepy! No other trick-or-treaters came by, so I have a whole bag of M&Ms to work my way through. Ugh - maybe I'll take them to work and leave them in the lunch room.
