Update
It has been 11 years since I first blogged as a teen, and I continue to regularly use social networking on FB. It has been 4 years since I have even used this site. I have been with my fiance for 5 years now, and the girls go to school by us. Thomas is a Cosmetologist, and we have an Alaskan Pit Bull, Roxie, and a bunny, Thumper. I'm still working at the youth shelter where I began my human services roots 9 years ago, as well as supervising a day services program for adults recovering from mental illness (groups, meals, activities and outings). I have a Bachelor's Degree in Communication from UW-Parkside, and have served in AmeriCorps (the Domestic Peace Corps), as well as worked at the local paper, and with many nonprofits. I've done board and committee work in the community. I'm a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, and the Freemasons (past officer, and Knight Templar). During my college spring breaks, I assisted with housing projects in AZ, FL, LA, and MS. I began studying the violin as an adult; I also have a light-up keyboard, and am interested in the harp. Zoey (11) plays the flute- P.S., Autumn is 8. My parents moved to the Northwoods near our cabin (which is really a house now), and my grandparents retired in Vegas. My sister lives in our childhood home, and is married to the boy next door (literally, he was), and has a daughter, Lylah, who will turn 1 next month! My brother is living with Charlie in Kenosha, and works in the Crisis Center part time, plus full time as a CNA, and is also an RN student. My 10 year HS Reunion was in May at the Eagles Club. Also, some friends from Park 2003 got together a few weeks ago for pizza, and reminiscing over music from the time period, and old photos.
