upset
so, I was really excited about going to see Duke University tomorrow because it's one of the schools I am applying to, and since I'm only aobut 5 hours away I thought it would be nice. HOWEVER, my dad told me I had to make a choice today: I could either go see Duke tomorrow or I could get my car. WTF?!?! They STILL haven't gotten the wheels put on it and the've had ALL summer, but this is what happens when people wait to the last minute. so now I can't go see Duke and talk to an admissions person because stuff didn't come through because people procrastinate. AND I STILL DON'T HAVE INSURANCE. They say I'll have it by the end of the week, but the way things are going I'm sure something else is gonna be in the way. Hopefully the tires and stuff will be taken care of tomorrow. It's gonna start on it's way down to houston from south carolina tomorrow night and it will be there sometime friday. (hopefully nothing goes wrong). I really hope this car thing comes through cause it's supposed to be my birthday present (even though my birthday was May 31)...oh yeah, I think I'm gonna get some contacts next week so that'll be exciting...peace
