i'm a ramblin' (wo)man.
so far i've spent $160.34 on gas this month. that's more than i pay for car insurance. and my tank is empty right now, so i'll have to fill her up again in the next couple days.
however, i've also driven to canada (with trips to stratford and buffalo while there), and harrisburg, totalling somewhere around a complete day's worth of driving. plus, it's cold, so i've had the heat on a lot. so, all things considered, that's not really all that much.
i've also spent $59.06 on cds this month. but $20 of that went to money i owed BMG, so really it was $39.06. which is still over my $30 budget, but i got lots of good stuff. eels, cake, engine down, ben folds, kevin devine, chris issak, jump little children, belle and sebastian. mmm, yeah.
i have no desire to eat. which is okay, i guess, because i'm getting fat again. i'm not sure why, though, unless this is one of those times where i just randomly gain weight. i haven't had much to eat, and i'm not exercising, but i'm very active. my arms looked swollen today. it was weird. perhaps it's because i'm not drinking enough, because i barely have a bottle of vitamin water every day. although i do drink lots of soy milk. probably more than i should. and so far, i haven't had anything to eat since 1 this afternoon. i usually eat every 3 hours, to keep my energy up. today, i decided to sleep instead. i may have a bowl of ice cream. it's soy delicious ice cream, so it's low in fat, and high in good stuff, like iron.
my wallet closes much better when there's not a ridulously large amount of receipts in it.
since july, i've been to canada every 2 months. i'm not sure how i feel about driving up there in january, though. although i may be able to find mangosteens, and that would make it all worth it.
i want to buy a new toaster. but not until i can find a nice cover for it.
my mom is going to share her fish sandwich with me, so i guess that's better than ice cream for dinner.
i've spent a lot of money on food this month, which is odd, because i don't eat a lot. only $50some on groceries, though. the rest is picking up food here and there. i usually have a big breakfast.
i don't think unions do a very good job at preventing the exploitation of poor, unskilled workers when the poor, unskilled workers have to pay to be a part of said union.
everyone is nostalgic today. i should probably be nostalgic, too. why am i not?
i rather enjoy doing this running commentary of things that aren't important to anyone, including me.
