[Seifer was out and about too, but not training in a conventional manner. He was on a quest! A quest of exploration, and possibly finding where they're hiding the monsters. He owed a couple people sparring sessions but those could wait until a little bit later.

His path of destination just happened to cross Quistis' jog path.]

He might not have seen her at first, but he heard the groan and caught the movement out of his eye, though at first he reacted as though he thought she'd attack, whirling to take a battle stance and watching her coldly.
