My one big disappointment was that when they all went into the church and we saw everybody, Mr. Ekko wasn't there as a priest.

Ya, all meeting in a church and everything, it seemed ready made, but I figured real life intervened somehow.

From what I understand they had bigger plans (or at least ideas) for Mr. Eko but the actor wasn't interested in staying with the show.
