Characters Requested: Kurt, Brittany
“I wanted to ride Rainbow Dash,” Brittany declared, holding onto the reins of her horse. “Rainbow Dash can fly.”
Kurt sighed. “Britt,” he said tiredly, “we’ve been over this. Rainbow Dash is off doing promotional work for the My Little Pony brand. She’s not going to be back in Sugar’s barn for a very long time.”
Brittany turned in her seat, frowning. “If we feed the ponies sugar cubes, is that cannibalism?” she wanted to know.
“Is that-what? No!” Kurt sputtered, flustered. “Sugar is a person-an irritating, talentless, often unpleasant person, yes, but still-and sugar cubes are made from plants and chemicals.”
He tightened his grip on the bridle. “And would you please turn around and watch where you’re going?” he pleaded. “I’ve never been on a horse before, and you’re making me nervous.”
Brittany complied, and Kurt let out a sigh of relief.
Momentarily, anyway. “Britt, this trail is leading into the woods,” he pointed out. “Why are we going into the woods? We should not be going into the woods.”
Brittany looked back at him again. “But that’s where the unicorns live,” she pointed out, in a tone that suggested Kurt was an idiot for not deducing her reason on his own. “And if I can’t ride Rainbow Dash, I want to catch a unicorn. You can use him for your campaign, if you want.”
“That’s very generous of you,” Kurt acquiesced through gritted teeth. “What makes you think we’re going to catch a unicorn?”
Brittany smiled. “Unicorns like virgins, and you’ve got, like the sparkliest V-card ever,” she said matter-of-factly. “I was going to have Rachel come too, but Sugar wouldn’t give me another pony.”
Kurt ignored the end of Brittany’s rationale. “You invited me to come riding with you so that you could use my virginity to catch a unicorn?!” he demanded.
Brittany stared. “No,” she said, sounding surprised. “Santana said that you’d want to come. She said it would be good for you if you pulled the stick out and got your Brokeback on.”
She frowned. “That’s riding horses, right? That movie was about cowboys?”
