I would speak with any who can use magic. Any time that is convenient.

Would that include Alchemy? Cause I've heard some compare alchemy to magic/miracles before...

Quite possibly. Have you regained the ability to use it?

Yup~!
I think Al might have too. What exactly did you have in mind?

I am interested in studying and possibly learning other forms of magic, if I am able. While I do not have my spellbooks back, I can give knowledge of herbs in exchange.

Oh. I see. Well,...as long as someone studies, they should be able to use alchemy. But I have to be sure you know what you're doing and why you want to learn it.

My Teacher back home set me and Al this question before she taught us: "One is All, All is One." I might teach you, depending on your answer.

I would imagine "one" refers to the user of the power, and "all" to either the community or even the world. Likely, it is a parable that the effects of one's actions and use of alchemy can have consequences that affect the world.

...How did you get it so quickly?! It took Al and I days, and then we had to wait till the month was up till Teacher came back to get us from the Island...

I am likely more than ten years your senior, have studied magic since my youth, and have attained the rank of archmagi. I have some facility with riddles such as this.

I suppose so. Anyway, I guess it wouldn't take much to teach you the theory and laws at least, especially if you're already somewhat familiar with it, right?

I would imagine not. In return, I will teach you my own brand of magic when I have spellbooks with which to do so, although I, too, can teach you the theory and law. If you prefer, I can teach you herbology as well.

Hm. Equivalent Exchange, huh? I guess it couldn't hurt. But don't tell Marmon I'm teaching you. That brat would probably use alchemy to wreck havoc and break the Laws.
