James/Elizabeth: "These Last Moments" *complete*

Aug 20, 2007 16:03

I basically decided to continue this on a whim. When I first wrote "These Last Moments" I had only intended it to be a one-shot, but I've had some people ask me to add one more chapter, focusing specifically on Elizabeth's son at the end of AWE, and how from reading this fic, I should make the boy not be Will's. So, after thinking hard about it, I ( Read more... )

Aww, I loved it. I had thought of doing the same thing because there are about twenty-four hours of James and Elizabeth on The Flying Dutchman that are unaccounted for and since Elizabeth has brown eyes, their child would probably have them, too, just like the boy in the end so I'm not entirely convinced he's James...

But, I'm not sure how I'd be able to top this.

Yeah, see, when I was writing this I thought about that, how it's more likely for a boy to have his mother's eyes... but I put that aside for this fic, because James' eyes are just too beautiful and I wanted them to be passed on to someone... XD I'm sure you can understand that. ;D

Thank you, though! :D I'm glad you liked this.

Well, I did do that in a fic, too.
I mainly brought it up to illustrate my point that Young William Turner might not be William's at all. It could very well be the situation that you suggest or perhaps she did go to the brig where we find her when James lets them out, but in between she visited James in his quarters.

Really? :) I'd like to read it; can you give me the link?

Oh, I know what you meant; I didn't take your comment as criticism or anything. :)I do see your point, and even though in the film it is heavily implied that the boy is Will's, I would've loved the idea of her visiting James in his quarters to be true. ;D

Well, with POTC, unless someone tells us No, like Ted or Terry, I think you can believe anything you want...and I'm certainly not going to ask them!
