My view on Harry/Hermione is the same as yours. They've always had such a deep emotional bond from the beginning, which honestly makes them much more sweet and interesting than Ron/Hermione ever could be, imo. I just love them so much.

this is beautiful! just like these kids. i love how every little thing, every seemingly insignificant action has so much weight, with them. so much unsaid, so much that doesn't need to be said. and i love it when their friendship is enough, it doesn't even need to be more. because it already is. much deeper than anything else in those books.

I always felt like so many things between Harry and Hermione were left unsaid and yet they just knew all those things anyway; their bond is just so deep and special like that. I think the exact same way about their relationship as you, and absolutely, it is much deeper than any other relationship in the books, imo. They're just wonderful.

This is so poignant and beautiful, it makes me want to cry. It's just so them! Everything I love (and will probably always love) about Harry and Hermione. And that last sentence just about killed me. *weeps happy tears*
