For the past two weeks I have been residing in a decomposing plywood cabin out in the middle of nowhere (aka the deep South). And for all of you who are not familiar with the Greater Mississippi Area (or at least the part where I stayed in) it is basically composed of mainly pine trees, bumpy roads that are in dire need of resurfacing, empty beer cans, assorted rivers and their tributaries filled with suspicious murky water, but most distinguishable of all is the alarming amounts of insects and arachnids that do not respond or seem to have an immunity against either bug spray or being stomped, slapped, or squished.

In other news, we have two stray black and white kittens living in our media room currently. They are so freaking cute I want to bite them. Well, I mean, not really. That would be cruel and perhaps even a bit sick, but you get the idea. Besides, the ASPCA probably issued a law of some sort that said something along the lines of 'Thou shall not sample thine kitten's ear'. They're both still rather frightened of us, but I think that they are starting to gradually realize the fact that none of us are planning on hurting them or cooking them or whatever horrible situations their little brains might have devised.

All and all it's been a really busy past couple of weeks and I am glad to be home with electricity and internet access more than anyone will ever know. As a side note, I feel I must also bring the attention of the general public to this very important matter: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows comes out in six days.

camp, useless information about my life, deathly hallows, unnamed kittens
