"[I feel] a sort of terror when, finding myself before the infinitude of possibilities that present themselves, I have the feeling that everything is permissible. If nothing offers me any resistance, then any effort is inconceivable, and consequently every undertaking becomes futile."
-Igor Stravinsky
"The control and energy you and [the Boston Celtics] exhibited today was just incredible, and obviously the Lakers were completely unprepared for it. After an intense final series and a couple of hard losses - where do you come up with that kind of energy?"
(quizzical expression)"This the NBA finals!" - Paul Pierce, in response to annoying white lady
I'm designing a video and PDF series to address the problems some of our office's employees have had making the transition from Microsoft Office 2003 to the 2007 System, and prep the rest of the office for the upcoming switch. I'm taking polls and watching people's usage habits remotely and making beautiful outlines and documents and writing read-me files for unlicensed but sweet plug-ins. This project is so awesome. i love my job right now.
I need to purge my belongings. I heard about a guy who has a 100 item list and never allows himself to own more than he can fit on it. I might write a 200 item list... 100 is pretty intense. The guy has 3 pairs of pants for gods sake - I'm not ready for that kind of asceticism.
I'm obsessed with prefab green and renewable energy modern housing structures. I want to design the next capsule tower
except more suited to .. uh.. human habitation. Like a mixture of that and Durbach Block. But with huge solid hardwood furniture instead of pussy minimalist chairs that look like Andy Warhol's wet dream and hurt your ass just as much.
